Wonderland of Wildlife
Spring is a time when wildlife is more active. Echidnas are mating. Baby Kangaroos and Tammar Wallabies are being born. Double-banded plovers arrive. Black swans are nesting. Glossy Black cockatoos are busy with their young. There are about 9 young chicks in American River this year.
